Most cities have lost far more tree cover than most residents realise, and the air-quality cost of that loss is easy to feel but hard to see. Airleaf reads real Sentinel-2 satellite imagery and live air-quality data for the exact circle a user draws on a map — no estimates, no guesswork — and shows the honest number: how much canopy is there now, and how many trees would close the gap to a healthy standard.
Every figure is traceable to a named data source and a documented formula. We built it that way on purpose — the credibility of the number is what makes people (and organisations) willing to fund the trees behind it.

A tree isn't “planted” until it survives
Plenty of tree-planting programmes count a sapling the moment it's put in the ground. We count survival instead, which is why every order includes the same four things:
Native species only
Every sapling is matched to local soil and climate, chosen with input from regional forestry guidance — not a generic catalogue.
Site survey before planting
Our team checks soil, sunlight and space before a single tree goes in the ground, so it actually survives.
Twelve months of aftercare
Watering, staking and health checks are included in every order, not sold as an add-on.
Photo verification
Planting-day and follow-up photos are posted to the community feed — anyone can see the tree that was funded.

How is Airleaf funded?+
Through the orders people place. Every sapling, bundle or home plant covers its own site survey, planting labour and a year of aftercare — there's no separate donation model, the purchase itself is what funds the tree.
How do you measure tree canopy percentage?+
We read live Sentinel-2 satellite imagery from ESA Copernicus at 10 m resolution for the exact circle you select on the map, then calculate vegetation cover using a documented NDVI-based formula — the same figure is reproducible by anyone with access to the same imagery.
Where does the air quality data come from?+
Live AQI and a 7-day trend come from Open-Meteo's CAMS air-quality model, the same forecasting system used by meteorologists, refreshed for the location you're viewing.
How do I know a tree I fund actually gets planted?+
Our planting team surveys the site, plants and stakes the sapling, and posts a dated photo to the public community feed. Follow-up visits over the next twelve months are photographed too.
Can my company or school sponsor a bulk order?+

Which countries and cities do you operate in?+
